A staircase is made up of three parts; stringers, treads, and risers. In this design, two of the three components are missing. The stringer, which is the side of the staircase, is simply a void. Same goes for the vertical riser. The tread is where your feet go, and it is only this horizontal plane where there is surface. Constructed from square steel bars and smoked black glass for a understated, minimalist effect.
